Jon details the City of Gainesville and Alachua County’s joint project: The 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness. After a decade of struggling to find a location, Jon’s team finally found landed on a site that works. His talk outlined the history of transforming a former prison into the site of a one-stop homeless services campus.

A featured session of the 2009 FAC conference, this presentation provided elected officials throughout the State with pragmatic, politically feasible solutions to homelessness that engage the community and build political and issue-based support.
